NATIOnal R&B Walk of fame

The National R&B Walk of Fame is a dedicated division of the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame Foundation. Designed as an outdoor tribute on the future grounds of the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame, this landmark attraction is currently seeking its official home city. Once established, it will serve as a cultural gateway—welcoming visitors into an immersive celebration of Rhythm & Blues history, heritage, and impact.

The National R&B Walk of Fame exists to advance knowledge, awareness, and appreciation of the trailblazers whose talent, creativity, and achievements helped shape and elevate the Rhythm & Blues genre. Through public recognition and permanent outdoor honors, the Walk of Fame will shine a light on the artists, musicians, producers, executives, and cultural contributors who left an indelible mark on the world of music.

The mission of this initiative is not only to preserve their legacies, but also to inspire a deeper sense of pride, cultural understanding, and respect for the individuals who built and expanded the foundation of R&B. By honoring these influential voices, the National R&B Walk of Fame will help future generations connect with the stories, struggles, and triumphs that define the history of music—and ensure that these contributions continue to resonate for decades to come.
